Broad River Homes is owned by Dwayne and Jamie Harris. Dwayne is a NC Licensed General Contractor #58738 a NC Licensed Home Inspector #3184, and a NC Licensed Septic Installer. They have been in business together since 1995. The business started with a sawmill and lumber operation that supplied log home timbers to many of the log home companies in the area. This gave Dwayne valuable experience with the components necessary to construct log and timber frame homes. Dwayne built his first home in 1997 and many more since in Rutherford, Polk, McDowell, Catawba, Haywood, and Watauga counties of Western North Carolina. Dwayne also does home inspections, new septic system installations, and grading. Dwayne has worked closely with local architects and engineers to design many of the homes you see on our website. We pride ourselves in being able to help customers find the home and design that is the right fit for them.
